Michael J. "Mike" Harman, Sr.

NICHOLSON - Michael J. “Mike” Harman, Sr., 62, formerly of Williamsport, died on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at the Regional Hospital of Scranton. He was born on July 11, 1953 in Williamsport and was the son of the late George K. and Anna (Steele) Harman, Sr. Michael was married to the late Rebecca (Deeter) Harman who had died in September 2000. He had attended Door Fellowship and enjoyed working on cars. Michael is survived by three sons and one daughter-in-law; Michael J. Harman, Jr. of Williamsport, Leroy A. Harman, Sr. and wife Ann of Williamsport, Timothy A. Harman of Somerset and Anthony M. Harman of Williamsport, one step daughter; Cynthia Deeter of Williamsport, 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and two brothers; George K. Harman, Jr. of Lock Haven and Kenneth E. Harman of Allenwood. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one sister; Eileen Wertz. There will be a public viewing 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, October 5, 2015 at the Allen & Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira St., Williamsport followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Paul Browne will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery.
