Michael J. Loughran

Dover—Michael J. Loughran, 66, died Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. He was the husband of Linda J. (Firestone) Loughran to whom he was married for 13 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements. Born June 16, 1947 in York, he was a son of the late George A. and Ada M. (Scantling) Loughran. He was employed with Conductive Technologies for 46 years, retiring as Vice President of Manufacturing in 2011. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and trap shooting and was a member of Carlisle Fish and Game and the American Trap Shooting Association. In addition to his wife, Mr. Loughran is also survived by one son, Bryon J. Loughran and his wife, Lauren of Blain; one daughter, Emily S. Loughran of York; two brothers, Vincent and Carl Loughran; two sisters, Ann Enfield and Kathy Bowers and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters.
