Michael J. Hiller

SOUTH RENOVO - Michael John Hiller, 71, of Renovo passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Bucktail Medical Center, South Renovo. Mike was born in Renovo on January 18, 1947 the son of the late John “Hisser” and Marion (English) Hiller. He was a 1965 graduate of Renovo High School. On February 8, 1975 he married the former Kathleen Mieth. They celebrated 43 years of marriage together. He was a machinist and welder by trade working for the local companies that came into Renovo retiring from New Columbia Joist in 2006. Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and spending time at camp with all his life long friends. He was an avid sports fan and loved rooting for the Steelers, Notre Dame and the good old Yankees. Most of all Mike adored his family. Spending time at home having the family all together for picnics and holidays. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four daughters; Charlene Wilson of Buffalo, NY, Carrie Lynn Brady of Renovo, Bridget (James) Miller of Castanea and Molly Hiller of Baltimore, MD. Five grandchildren Edward Zeisz, Michael Brady, Erin (Mike) Smoker, Megan Wilson and Jarrett Davis also two great grandchildren Max Zeisz and Elliott “Eli” Smoker. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions can be made to Bucktail Medical Center, 1001 Pine St., S. Renovo, PA 17764.
