Michael J. Chizmar, Jr. Pottsville-Michael J. Chizmar, Jr. 61, of Pottsville died Friday afternoon at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, PA after a long illness, surrounded by his family. Michael was born in Pottsville, January 7,1948, the son Marie Resavage Chizmar, Saint Clair, PA and the late Michael J. Chizmar, Sr. He graduated from Saint Clair High School in 1966. Michael was a master carpenter and clock and watch repairman by trade and owned and operated Fine Wood Design, Saint Clair, PA. Mr. Chizmar was of the Catholic faith. Michael is preceded in death by his father Michael, Sr, and two brothers Edward and Joseph M. Chizmar. Surviving besides his mother,is his wife of 18 years Carol S. (Haughney), Pottsville, two sisters, Ann Marie, wife of John Speacht, Pottsville, and Jacqueline, wife of Eric Anderson, Downingtown, and several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 7, 2009, at Saint Patrick Church, Fourth & Mahantongo Street, Pottsville, PA with the Msgr.Edward J. O'Connor officiating. Entombment with military honors will be conducted at Saint Ambrose mausoleum, Schuylkill Haven.Family and friends may call at the Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home, Inc. Tuesday evening from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. and on Wednesday from 8:30 A.M. till 9:30 A.M.
