YORK – Michael H. Brigham, 72, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Evelyn K. (Bennett) Brigham to whom he was married for 52 years. Born March 4, 1948 in Johnson City, New York a son of the late Robert Kenneth and Mabel Marie (Aiken) Brigham, he was a graduate of Mountain View High School in Kingsley, Susquehanna County, PA. Mr. Brigham retired from Campbell Chain/Cooper Tools after 35 years of service. Michael was also the former Pastor of Evangelical Free Baptist Church in York. Along with his wife, they were currently studying to become one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He enjoyed bowling in various leagues at Colony Park North and spending time in the outdoors fishing and hunting. Most importantly, Michael loved being a husband, father, grandpa and uncle to his family. In addition to his wife, Mr. Brigham is survived by two sons, Michael D. Brigham and his fiancée Sherri Lewis and Clyde W. Brigham and his fiancée Tammy Ritter both of York; two daughters, Sarah E. and husband Ronald Raffensberger, III of Clifford, Susquehanna County and Melissa M. and husband Edward Miller, Jr. of York; 14 grandchildren; one great granddaughter; a brother, John A. Brigham of New Milford, Susquehanna County; and a sister, Marian Louise Walton of York. He was preceded in death by a brother, William K. Brigham. Funeral services will be private with burial in Mount Rose Cemetery. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. CLICK HERE TO SEND FLOWERS
