Michael D. Brown

RED LION- Michael D. Brown, 77, passed away at home on Sunday, June 18, 2017. He was the husband of Sharon L. (Landis) Brown. They would have celebrated 35 years of marriage on June 19, 2017. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 1:30 pm Friday, June 23, 2017 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, in Red Lion with visitation from 12:30-1:30 pm at the funeral home. Pastor Edward J. Ross, III will be officiating the service. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Garden. Michael was the son of the late Michael I. and Mary (Robison) Brown. Michael retired from ITT Corporation in Lancaster where he worked as the accounting manager. Michael is survived by his wife, Sharon; two daughters, Susan Somerville and husband Benjamin, and Jennifer Nesbit; two granddaughters, Kailyn Brown, and Sophia Nesbit; a grandson Cody Somerville; and two great grandsons, Brayden Dill, and Kameron Brown. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, William, and Thomas Brown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Springwood Chapel, 2360 Springwood Rd., York, PA 17402.
