Michael C. 'Mike' Hoffman

MILTON - Michael C. “Mike” Hoffman, 73, died Friday, March 01, 2013 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was born on October 8, 1939 in Lewisburg, and was the son of the late Cyrus and Mary (Wilson) Hoffman. Mike was married to the former Charlotte E. (Faux) on August 27, 1982 who survives and they have celebrated 30 years of marriage. He was a 1957 graduate of the Lewisburg High School. Mike was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Milton. He worked at Worshow & Sons, Inc for 29 years until he retired on 2007. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on anything that was old. In addition to his wife Charlotte, Mike is survived by two stepsons; Jack Stevenson and wife Glenda of Jonestown and Bautista “Bobbie” Bonett of Watsontown, four step daughters; Deddi Effenger and husband Larry of Shamokin Dam, Nancy Mordan of Sunbury, Bonnie Heverly of Watsontown and April Hollenbach and husband Franklin of Allenwood, one granddaughter that was raised as a daughter; Justina Bonett, 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, one brother; Ward Hoffman and wife Carlotte of CA and one sister; Raphael Boyer of Milton. Mike was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Arrangements are being handled by The Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front Street, Milton, PA 17847 Burial will take place in McEwensville Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
