Melvin E. Troup Jr.

Etters—Melvin E. Troup Jr., 71 passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at his residence in Newberry Township.

Born December 09, 1953 in York, he was the son of the late Melvin E. Troup Sr., and Virginia M. (Frye) Troup.

He was employed as an auto body repairman for several years until his retirement.

An avid hunter, he was also a skilled small engine mechanic and enjoyed working on tractors and cars.

He is survived by seven siblings, Sandra Archer, Donna Edleblute, Linda Lentz, Debra Lentz, Patricia Crone, Richard Troup and Jeff Troup and nieces and nephews.

Services are private at the convenience of the family. Beaver Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Lewisberry is in charge of arrangements.
