Melody (Ortiz) Ames

RED LION- Melody (Ortiz) Ames, 59, died on Monday, May 30, 2016 at Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of Michael L. Ames. A viewing will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion. Born on November 20, 1956 in San Jose, CA, she was a daughter of Petra (Noriega) Ortiz and the late Felix Ortiz. Melody was a homemaker. Mrs. Ames was a member of the Family Worship Center in Red Lion. She enjoyed quilting and most importantly, spending time with her family and grandchildren. Along with her husband, Michael, Melody is survived by two daughters, Valerie Trejo and her husband, Vincent of Wrightsville and Sarah Snell of Boise, ID; six grandchildren, Abryanna, Josiah, Jordan, Alexandra, Dominick and Madison; three brothers, Sam, Jimmy and George; and two sisters, Carol and Margarita.
