Melissa Ann (Howard) Venable

Manchester — Melissa Ann (Howard) Venable, 47, died Sunday, September 21, 2014 at York Hospital. She was the wife of John H. Venable Jr., to whom she was married for 15 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be 8 PM, Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York. A viewing will be held from 6-8 PM, Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Born August 17, 1967 in York, she was the daughter of the James D. and Valerie J. (Spangler) Howard of Rossville. She was a loving wife and mother, who lived for spending time with her family and friends. For the past 10 years she was an extremely active volunteer and team mom with Tri-Town Youth Football. In addition to her husband, Melissa is also survived by three sons, Sabastian I., Logan C. and Dalton J. Venable all of Manchester and one step daughter, Morgan A. Venable of York.
