Melissa A. (Getty) Seigh

RED LION- Melissa A. (Getty) Seigh, 73, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2011 at her residence. She was the wife of John Seigh. The couple wed on July 7, 1962. A celebration of life tribute service will be 10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion. A visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. prior to the service. Mrs. Seigh was born on May 7, 1938 in Johnstown, a daughter of the late Clarence and Alice (McCrea) Getty. Melissa was a 1956 graduate of Johnstown Central High School. After high school, she attended Robert Morris University School of Business. She worked as a secretary for the U.S. Army Environmental Center until her retirement in 2004. Mrs. Seigh enjoyed sewing, visiting tea houses and day drives in the area with her husband. Above all, she enjoyed gardening and landscaping. Along with her husband, John, Mrs. Seigh is survived by a son, Christopher P. Seigh of Harrisburg; Beth A. Hall of Red Lion; and two grandchildren, Stephen Hall and Danielle Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity of choice in Melissa’s memory.
