Maye O. (Winters) Hannigan

DALLASTOWN – Maye O. Hannigan, 92, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2011 at Rest Haven – York. She was the wife of the late James H. Hannigan. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, September 16, 2011 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with Rev. Roger H. Mentzer officiating. A viewing will be held from 9-10:00 AM Friday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born May 20, 1919 in Lower Windsor Twp. a daughter of the late Ervin and Bessie (Brown) Winters, she had worked many years in the former Wolf Brothers Cigar Factory. Mrs. Hannigan is survived by a son, Myles L. and wife Nora Gipe of Red Lion; five grandchildren, Myles Gipe, Jr. and wife Kristen, Todd and wife Alisha Gipe, Tim Gipe, Brett and wife Dana Gipe, and Kerri Gipe; eight great grandchildren; one great great grandson; a sister, Thelma Raab of Dallastown; and nieces and nephews.
