Maxine J. Shaull

YORK- Maxine J. (Sechrist) Shaull, 91, formerly of Red Lion, died unexpectedly on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Autumn House East in York. She was the wife of the late J. Robert “Bob” Shaull. The couple was married for 64 years at the time of his death. Maxine was born June 5, 1925 in Springvale, the daughter of the late John and Alice (Weirman) Sechrist. Her parents owned and her dad operated a fleet of trucks. She married Bob and they eventually acquired her parents trucking business. Maxine was a stay-at-home mom. She enjoyed yard work and watching birds, deer, and other wildlife. One of her greatest memories was a trip to Israel. She enjoyed shopping, listening to gospel preachers, hymns and gospel music. She also enjoyed singing hymns with her daughter and granddaughter while they played the piano. Now she is with her Saviour and Heavenly Father and loved ones who have gone before her. Maxine leaves a daughter, Judy Hanist and her husband, Matthew of York; two sons, Brian Shaull and his wife, Lila of Felton, and J. Robin Shaull and his wife Cindy of Windsor and; a granddaughter, Stacy Trinh of Hellam; two step grandchildren, Tia Brown and Jerome Brown, II; two great grandchildren, Aaron and Sarah Trinh; and four step great grandchildren, Tanner Williams, Abigail Ferrell, and Bennett and Kamryn Brown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministries, Inc., P.O. Box 908, Bellmawr, NJ, 08099. Services will all be private.
