Maurice E. Edlund

WINDSOR- Maurice E. Edlund, 79, died on Monday, September 19, 2016 at his residence. He was the husband of Nancy L. (Colbert) Edlund to whom he was married for 56 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, September 26, 2016 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion with the Reverend Timothy L. Shuey officiating. A visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. prior to the service. Born on July 21, 1937 in Rock Springs, WY, he was the son of the late Alert and Geanette (Herd) Edlund. Maurice was a logistics analyst for the New Cumberland Army Depot for 17 years until his retirement in 1995. Mr. Edlund served our country for two years in the U.S. Army. Maurice was a former member of Windsor Fire Department. Along with his wife, Nancy, Maurice is survived by one son, Jeremy M. Edlund and his wife, Christy of Windsor; one daughter, Stephanie E. Vajda and her husband, Joe of Harrisburg; five grandchildren, Jon, Aaliyah, Jacob, Reagan and Liam; three great grandchildren, Devin, Grayson and Ryder; and one sister, Lorana Carter of Rock Springs, WY.
