Maryann Klebon

Maryann Klebon, 84, of Scranton, passed away April 22, 2011 in the hospice unit at Mercy Hospital, Scranton. Born in Blaine Ohio on February 9, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Loretta (Robinson) Stasits. She was a member St Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Scranton and the Westside Senior Center. Maryann was an avid shopper. She enjoyed helping at the Telespond Senior Services, Scranton. She loved the company of her son and daughter in laws dog, Ziggy. She worked at various local garment companies, Williams Bakery Scranton, and Sears in Dickson City. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 Years, Nicholas, who passed away March 1, 2001.She is survived by sons, John Peter Klebon and wife Mary Ann, Phoenixville, PA, Richard and wife Ann Marie, Moosic; grandson, Paul Klebon, Indiana; sisters, Pauline Kotchick, Geraldine Hafner, Josephine Orzel, Loretta Gerrity, all of Scranton; and several nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 11:00AM in SS. Peter & Paul Church, Avoca with Father Phillip J. Sladicka officiating. Interment will be in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Moosic. Funeral services are entrusted to Kniffen OMalley Funeral Home, Inc., 728 Main Street, Avoca.
