Mary Teresa Trone

Mary T. (Damms) Trone, 89, formerly of West York, entered eternal rest at 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at ManorCare Kingston Court. She was the wife of the late Philip K. Trone who died November 24, 1990. Mrs. Trone was born December 19, 1917, in Napanoch, New York. She was the daughter of the late Augustus J. and Charlotte M. (Ostrum) Damms. She was a loving homemaker and was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Mrs. Trone is survived by her daughter, Bonita L. Julius of York; her son, William R. Trone of York; four grandchildren, Carole, John and Kelly Trone and William Julius; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marian Trone; a granddaughter, Crickett Julius; and her six sisters and brothers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 2935 Kingston Rd., York with the Rev. Joseph Tuscan OFM Cap as celebrant. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at the church. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is in charge of arrangements.
