Mary T. (Bensavage) Dennis

WILKES-BARRE-Mary T. Dennis, of Wilkes-Barre, died Wednesday night at Geisinger South, Wilkes-Barre. Born in Hanover Township, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Bukavich) Bensavage, and was educated in the Hanover School District. She was employed in the garment industry prior to retirement in 1977. She was a member of Holy Trinity Church. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; son, Joseph; grandson, David; brothers, George, Joseph, Edward and John Bensavage; and sisters, Elizabeth Grieshaber, and Eleanor Smijon. She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Ann Marie Dennis, of Wilkes-Barre; brother, Leo Bensavage, Sr. of Hanover Twp; nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 9:30 AM in Holy Trinity Church, 416 East South Street, Wilkes-Barre with the Reverend Theodore Obaza officiating. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Bear Creek. Friends will be received at the church from 9:00 AM till the time of service.
