Mary M. (Mundis) Mellinger

RED LION-Mary M. (Mundis) Mellinger, 84, passed away Monday, August 16, 2010 at ManorCare Health Services - Dallastown. She was the loving wife of the late Robert W. Mellinger. A celebration of life tribute service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 20, 2010 at Windsor Church of God, 1125 Manor Road, Windsor, with her pastor, the Rev. Anthony D. Zumbo officiating. A viewing will be held 9-10:00 a.m., Friday at the church. Burial will follow in Windsor Church of God Cemetery. Mrs. Mellinger was born December 3, 1925 in Windsor, PA, a daughter of the late Edgar and Mary (Bortner) Mundis. She was an active member of Windsor Church of God. Mrs. Mellinger was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, who took great pride in providing for her family. Mrs. Mellinger is survived by four sons, Ernest L. Mellinger and wife, Lonna J. of York, Wayne A. Mellinger and wife, Christine R., Dennis E. Mellinger and wife, Donna J. all of Red Lion, and Lonnie L. Mellinger and wife, Elizabeth A. of Brogue; a daughter, Lou Ann Downs and husband, Christopher J. of York; seven grandchildren, Heather A. TeBeau, Stephanie M. Mellinger, Amy S. Mellinger, Tyler J. Mellinger, Benjamin A. Mellinger, Megan N. Leisenring, and Joseph M. Leisenring; one great-grandson, Logan S. TeBeau; a brother, Preston C. Mundis of Red Lion; and nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Windsor Church of God, 1125 Manor Road, Windsor, PA, 17356.
