Mary M. (Buser) Frey

DALLASTOWN - Mary M. (Buser) Frey, 76, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at York Hospital. She was the wife of Eugene E. Frey to whom she was married for 58 years on August 11, 2009. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, October 5, 2009 at Calvary Baptist Church, 2740 Roosevelt Ave., York with her pastor, the Rev. Gregory D. Wahlberg officiating. Viewings will be held from 7-9:00 PM Sunday at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York and from 10-11:00 AM Monday at the Church. Burial will be in Dallastown Union Cemetery. Born October 24, 1932 in York a daughter of the late Isaac and Ester (Krout) Buser, she was a member at Calvary Baptist Church and enjoyed playing the organ, crocheting, and fishing. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Frey is survived by two grandchildren, Michael E. Becker of York and Amanda L. and husband Jeff Cheng of Pittsburgh; a step granddaughter Larae Becker of Orlando; a great grandson, Steven Michael Becker; a step great granddaughter, Ashanay Becker; a brother, John Buser of Harrisburg; and a sister, Virginia Moore of York. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Y. Becker; and a sister, Charlene Goodyear. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 924-N Colonial Ave., York, PA 17403.
