CAMP HILL - Mary Louise (Skladowsky) Tressler, 92, died Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Forrest Park Health Center in Carlisle. She was the wife of the late Lester E. Tressler. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Beaver- Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 West Front Street in Lewisberry, with a viewing from 1-2 p.m. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery in Camp Hill. Mrs. Tressler was born November 3, 1920 in Baltimore, MD, the daughter of the late Dr. John A. and Julie L. (Henkel) Skladowsky. She was a graduate of Union Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Baltimore, MD. She was a Registered Nurse. She also attended the University of Maryland, College Park, MD and Peabody Institute of Music, Baltimore, MD. Mrs. Tressler was a member of Shiremanstown United Methodist Church and served in the hands of the Lord with her involvement in the Helping Hands Class and United Methodist Women of Shiremanstown. Mrs. Tressler was a devoted housewife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great, great grandmother. She leaves a son, Donald A. Tressler and his wife Elaine (Noll) of Lewisberry and a daughter, Nancy L. Thomas of West Virginia; three grandchildren, Eric Tressler, Donna Johnson, and Nicole Shannon; seven great grandchildren, Kayla, Hunter, Geoffrey, John, Max, Brayden, and Brody; and two great, great grandchildren, Amarie and Noah. A brother John A. Skladowsky had preceded her in death. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, Greater PA Chapter, 3544 N. Progress Ave. Suite 205, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
