Mary L. (Celine) Edwards

S. RENOVO - Mary L. (Celine) Edwards, 97, of Renovo died Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Bucktail Medical Center, S. Renovo. She was born January 12, 1916 in E. Renovo the daughter of Carmen and Jenny Celine. She was married to Robert L. Edwards who died May 31, 1951. Mary worked in the cafeteria at Bucktail High School for several years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and puzzles. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Renovo. Surviving are three sons; Robert L. (Dorothy) Edwards, Jr., Joseph C. (Connie) Edwards both of Carrollton, GA and Randy B. (Jane) Edwards of S. Renovo. 6 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. One brother William Celine of Ocala, FL also four sisters Alice Matthews of Erie, PA, Irene Wesnick of Boston, MA, Kate Taylor of Cincinnati, OH, and Madeline of Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by a sister Rose and three brothers Pat, Joe and Vince. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 925 Huron Ave., Renovo. Friends and relatives will be received in the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Hyner. The family will provide the flowers. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Improvement Fund at St. Joseph’s Church, or Bucktail Medical Center, 1001 Pine Street, S. Renovo, PA 17764.
