Mary K. Clinger

MILTON - Mary K. Clinger, 92, died on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Kramm Health Care Center, Milton. Mary was born on March 12, 1917 and was the daughter of the late Daniel Clinger, Jr. and Elsie (Shay). She was formerly employed by Clinger Lumber Co. as a buyer. She was also the secretary of the corporation. Mary was a member of the St. Johns United Church of Christ, New Columbia, Penn State Alumni Assoc. and the Red Hat Society. She was an avid Penn State Football fan. For the past 60 years, she spent her summers in Laporte, PA. Mary is survived by one nephew; D. James Clinger and his wife Andree of Milton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother; Daniel Clinger, III. In keeping with Mary's wishes, the services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Johns United Church of Christ, 906 Old Rte. 15, New Columbia, PA 17856. Arrangements are being handled by the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front St., Milton.
