Mary Josephine (Fritz) Doll

YORK – Mary Josephine (Fritz) Doll, 63, died Saturday, August 13, 2011 at York Hospital. She was the wife of Duane E. Doll. Born February 5, 1948, she was the daughter of Mary E. (Harnish) Fritz and the late William R. Fritz. She was a member of Advent Lutheran Church. She is survived by a son, Eric M. Doll and his wife Tara of Allendale, NJ; a daughter, Amy (Doll) Smith and her husband Bradley of Dover; four grandchildren, Courtney and Jacob Smith and Charlotte and Christopher Doll; her sister, Barbara (Fritz) Slayton of Midland, TX; her aunt, Janet Rebert of Lancaster; and her godson, Timothy Unger of Pittsburgh. She was preceded in death by her brother, W. Ronald Fritz. Following cremation, interment will be in the Garden of Faith at Prospect Hill Cemetery at 10:30 AM Saturday, September 10, 2011 with her pastors, Rev. David and Brenda Ritterpusch officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 AM at the Pennsylvania Avenue entrance of the cemetery. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements.
