Mary Jane (Young) Hurneman

LOCK HAVEN - Mary Jane (Young) Hurneman, 69, of Haneyville passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at the Williamsport Hospital. She was born May 2, 1942 in Jersey Shore the daughter of the late Lloyd and Laura (Shank) Young. Mary Jane was married to John C. Hurnaman who died July 7, 1977. She was a Jehovah Witness. Mary Jane enjoyed cooking and reading. Surviving are six sons John E. Hurneman of Blanchard, William L. Hurneman of Haneyville, Ronald J. (Sandra) Hurneman of Lock Haven, Samuel L. Hurneman of Haneyville, Michael J. (Dawn) Hurneman of Loganton and Allen G. Hurneman of Lock Haven. Ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Two brothers Willard of Reading, PA and Leroy of Lock Haven also five sisters Betty Lyons of Clarence, PA, Janet Dershum of Woolrich, Maxine Chubb of Beech Creek, Roseann Stitt of Huntingdon and Mildred Hunsinger of Lock Haven. A brother James a sister Shirley Lewis and also a nephew Justin Young preceded her in death. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Private interment will be at Haneyville Baptist Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Helt Funeral Chapel, Mill Hall.
