Mary Jane (Staib) Mcgill

South Renovo - Mary Jane (Staib) McGill, 95, died Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Bucktail Medical Center Nursing Home, South Renovo. She was born on October 20, 1918 in Renovo and was the daughter of the late Anthony P. and Flora (Bogar) Staib. Mary Jane was a graduate of Renovo High School. She married the late Matthew J. “M.J.” McGill on May 29, 1941 and they celebrated 47 years of marriage together until his death on October 26, 1988. Mary was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Renovo. She was an employee of Pennsylvania Rail Road Company, Renovo as a machinist and retired after 48 years on December of 1958. In addition to her parents and husband, Mary Jane was preceded in death by one brother; George F. Staib. Arrangements are being handled by Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth Street, Renovo PA 17764. All services are being handled privately and burial will take place in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Hyner.
