Mary J. (Heffner) Sinclair

York—Mary J. (Heffner) Sinclair, 94, died Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Autumn House East. She was the wife of the late Charles W. Sinclair who passed away in 1993. A Graveside Service will be 10:30 AM, Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Windsor Township with Rev. Wesley Mast, Chaplain with Heartland Hospice officiating. Life Tributes by Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born November 10, 1917 in Chanceford Township, she was a daughter of late George W. and Elbie W. (Reisinger) Heffner. She was employed with House of Windsor as a cigar maker for 25 years until her retirement. She was a member of Chapel United Methodist Church and the Red Lion Senior Center. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and spend time with family. Mrs. Sinclair is survived by two sisters, Flo D. Gohn and husband, Harold of Wrightsville and Margaret Criswell and husband, Vernon of Felton; one brother, Woodrow Heffner of Felton and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers, 2 sisters and good friend, Carl Pickel. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 3417-C Concord Rd, York, Pa 17402 or a charity of your choice.
