Mary J. Embick

Mary J. (Stevenson) Embick, 75, of Linden passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at UMPC Susquehanna Williamsport Hospital. She was the wife of the late Ralph C. Embick. The couple shared 51 years of marriage together. Born August 27, 1941, Mary was the daughter of the late Wilmer and Louise (Peluso) Stevenson. She loved making hand crafts, watching TV, flower arranging, talking on the phone, and taking care of her many outdoor cats. She was a member of the St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Jersey Shore. Mary is survived by her daughter, Christina Riggle and Pat of Lock Haven; five grandchildren, Jessica Riggle and husband, Eric Young of Renovo, Aaron Riggle and Rockell of Lock Haven, Sean Riggle of Lock Haven, Kelsey Riggle and husband, Anthony of Lock Haven, and Dani Bies of Lock Haven; four great grandchildren, Willow, Liam, Lucas, and Daylainee; two brothers, John Stevenson and wife, Barb of Jersey Shore, and Jim Stevenson and wife, Karen of Cogan Station; one sister, Martha Ohl and husband, Mike of Allentown; and one aunt, Lula Peluso of Jersey Shore. In addition to her beloved husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Josephine Embick; and two aunts, Jennie Peluso, and Theresa Peluso. A viewing will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, July 3, 2017 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 118 Kendall Avenue, in Jersey Shore. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM with Reverend Bert S. Kozen officiating. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the Mass. Burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Lock Haven. Helt Funeral Chapel, Inc., 232 Hogan Blvd, in Mill Hall is in charge of arrangements.
