YORK- Mary I. (Renoll) Krall, 91, of West Manchester Township, died Friday, July 20, 2012 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late J. Chester Krall who died November 20, 1998. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a viewing from 10- 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Her pastor, The Reverend Mitchell Galloway will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery in York. Mrs. Krall was born September 7, 1920 in Washington Township, York County, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mabel (Gochenauer) Renoll. She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers. Mrs. Krall was involved with many things during her lifetime, at one period she grew and sold African Violets and was known as “The Violet Lady”, later she made and taught Millinery and was known as “The Hat Lady”. She was also employed in several fabric stores and retired as the Manager of the Fabric Mart in York. She was a gifted seamstress and constructed her own clothes up until the time of her passing. Mrs. Krall was a member of Fourth United Methodist Church in York. Mrs. Krall leaves two sons, James C. Krall and his companion Roxann Stone of York and Robert E. Krall and his wife Cecelia of York; five grandchildren, Jamie Krall, Amelia Duffy, Jessica Shipley, Stephen Parrish, and Tobi Parrish; three great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to Fourth United Methodist Church, 1067 West Market Street, York, PA 17403 or York Cancer Center, Patient Help Fund, 25 Monument Rd. Suite 194, York, PA 17403.
