Mary H. Rosenberger

POTTSVILLE- Mary H. Rosenberger, 92, of Pottsville, passed away Saturday morning at Schuylkill Center, Pottsville. Born in Landingville, PA on June 6, 1920, she was a son of the late John and Stella Whalen Sauers. Mary attended Schuylkill Haven schools. She was a seamstress at the former Argo Mills, Willow Lake, until she retired . Mary was a member of Saint Patrick’s Church, Pottsville. Mary had a great love for her dog. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Harry J. Rosenberger, who passed away November 30, 2001; her three brothers, Lawrence, John and Francis Sauers. Mary is survived by her two daughters, Barbara J. Kunstek, wife of David, Sr., of Pottsville, and Alice M. Purcell, wife of George, of Pottsville; her 5 Grandchildren, David Kunstek, Michael Kunstek, Jennifer Kunstek, Angela Purcell and George Purcell; her 7 Great Grandchildren; her brother, Eugene Sauers, husband of Rita, of Levittown, PA; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Calvary Cemetery, Hillside, Pottsville. In lieu of flowers, to honor Mary’s love of dogs, the family requests memorial donations be sent to the Hillside SPCA, Hillside Road, Pottsville, PA 17901.
