Mary F. (Jones) Lambert

WILKES-BARRE-Mary F. (Jones) Lambert, of East Northampton Street, Wilkes-Barre, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2007. Born in Wilkes-Barre, on November 8, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Dorothy (Higgins) Jones and was educated at E.L. Meyers High School. She was employed by several local movie theaters and prior to retiring, she worked for Miller's Jewelers. She was a member of St. Mary's Church of the Immaculate Conception, Wilkes-Barre. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Lambert, May 12, 2000; brothers, Frank and William Jones; sisters Dorothy Dillon and Margaret Cummings. She will be missed by Holly Jones and Lillian Jones, both of Wilkes-Barre; Eileen Lambert, Drums and Paula Siegel, Mountain Top; brothers, Harry Jones and Joseph Jones, both of Wilkes-Barre; sisters Helen Menichini, Mount Laurel, New Jersey; Catherine Tomascik, Mount Holly, New Jersey; nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9:00 a.m. from the Kniffen O'Malley Funeral Home, Inc., 465 South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. St. Mary's Church of the Immaculate Conception, South Washington Street, Wilkes-Barre. Officiating will be Monsignor Thomas V. Banick. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
