Mary Etta (Misner) Heitzenrater

YORK- Mary Etta (Misner) Heitzenrater, 82, died on Monday, June 27, 2022 at SpiriTrust Lutheran, The Village at Shrewsbury. She was the wife of the late Homer B. Heitzenrater. Born on November 5, 1939 in Vintondale, she was a daughter of the late Ed and Mary (Schultz) Misner. Mary was an LPN for Country Meadows on Trolley Rd. Mary was a member of St. David’s Evangelical Congregational Church. She enjoyed gospel music and the Gaither Vocal Band, traveling and spending time with her family. Mrs. Heitzenrater is survived by two sons, David G. Heitzenrater and his wife, Jennifer of York and Donald P. Heitzenrater and his wife, Ruth Ann of Garrettsville, OH; and grandson, Reese W. Heitzenrater. She was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Rubis; and brother, Ed Misner, Jr. A graveside service will be private at the convenience of the family at Suburban Memorial Gardens.
