SHREWSBURY- Mary E. (Wolfe) Julius, 80, died Sunday August 16, 2009 at Barbara J. Egan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the loving wife of the late Richard N. Julius whom she married on October 1, 1977. A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, August 20, 2009 at St. Paul's UCC, 161 S. Main St., Shrewsbury with the Reverend John A. Denlinger officiating and Chaplain Joy V. Hovis assisting. A viewing will be on Thursday from 9-11 at the church. Burial will follow the service at Giesey Memorial Cemetery. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Julius was born December 5, 1928 in Glen Rock, a daughter of the late Milton S. and Margaret (Attig) Leber. Mrs. Julius was the owner and operator of Wolfe's Poultry farm for over 40 years. Mary was a member of St. Paul's UCC in Shrewsbury. Mrs. Julius was awarded for the cleanest egg farm in PA in 1983, the first year that such award was given. She enjoyed bottle collecting and most of all spending time with her family and grandchildren. She looked forward to their many visits. Once a month for 14 years, Mary and her sisters got together to share, "Sister's Day Out". Mrs. Julius is survived by a son, Tom Wolfe and his wife Cordelia of Seven Valleys; a daughter, Sandra Fager and her husband David of Seven Valleys; three grandchildren, Jennifer Bellman, Judd Wolfe, and Joshua Fager; five great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Stella, Wesley, Braden, and Hailie; two brothers, Richard M. Leber and Elmer Leber; seven sisters, Mildred Klineyoung, Norma Sowers, Hazel Brown, Nancy Geeting, Sarah Kaltreider, Elsie Brenneman and Ruth Crane; and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her husband, a brother, Larry Leber preceded her in death. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's UCC, 161 S. Main St., Shrewsbury, Pa 17361 or Heartland Hospice, 3417-C Concord Rd., York, Pa 17402.
