Mary E. (Williams) Anstine

York—Mary E. (Williams) Anstine, 87, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Manor Care Health Services-North. She was the wife of Albert W. Anstine, Sr., to whom she was married for 59 years on June 6, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, 2500 Pine Grove Road, York with her Priest, Father Andrew Tsikitas officiating. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, at the Church. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Anstine was born December 15, 1925 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late William M. Williams, Sr., and Mary (Amick) Williams. She was employed with various companies throughout the York area as a book keeper until her retirement. A member of Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, she also loved spending time with her grandchildren, reading the bible, crocheting and traveling with her husband. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Anstine is also survived by one son, Albert W. Anstine, Jr., and wife, Georgia of York; two daughters, Sharon E. Ealey and husband, Lance of Cleveland, OH and Nancy E. Brindle and husband, John of Wrightsville; 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; two brothers, Joseph Williams of Cleveland, OH and Rolland Williams of Florida; one sister, Evelyn Raubenstine of Lititz and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, William Williams, Jr., and Jack Williams. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in memory of Mary may be made to Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, 2500 Pine Grove Road, York, PA 17403.
