MILL HALL - Mary E. (Fisher) Sementilli, 102, formerly of Mill Hall passed away Friday, February 7, 2020 at her residence in Greensburg. She was the wife of the late, Richard C. Sementilli, Sr., who passed away April, 30, 1989. The couple shared over 39 years of marriage together. Born January 8, 1918 in Mill Hall, Mary was the daughter of the late Harry W. and Sarah M. (Hollen) Fisher. She was formerly a member of First Baptist Church in Lock Haven, until she moved and became a member of Calvary Baptist Church in New Stanton. She held several jobs throughout her life including the Silk Mill, Sylvania, Bobby Brooks, Cobbler’s Shoe Factory, and Island Poultry. She was very social throughout all of her life and loved spending time with family by going out to eat. Mary is survived by her son, Richard C. Sementilli, Jr. and wife, Susan of New Stanton; three grandchildren, Richard (Maryellen) Sementilli, III of Albany, OH, Christina (Shawn) Grubb of Linden, and Diana (Mike) Jankowski of McKean; and 15 great-grandchildren. In addition to her beloved husband and parents, Mary was preceded in death by her first husband, Merrill E. Chapman who passed away serving in WWII; four brothers, Herbert, Michael, Harris, and Russell; and five sisters, Helen, Margaret, Clara, Pearl, and Judith. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday February 14, 2020 at Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., in Mill Hall with Pastor Shawn Grubb officiating. Friends and family are welcome to times of visitation from 7:00-9:00 P.M. Thursday, February 13, 2020 and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
