Mary E. (Kinard) Heiland

YORK- Mary E. (Kinard) Heiland, 78, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Manor Care Health Services South in York. A viewing will be held from 6- 8 PM on Friday, July 18, 2014 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York. Inurnment will be private in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born June 18, 1936 in York, Mary was a daughter of the late Edward H. and Kathleen A. (Sterner) Kinard. She worked for many years as a sales clerk at East Prospect Hardware. Ms. Heiland is survived by four sons, Edward Heiland and his wife Linda of Dover, Aurthur Heiland and his wife Joy of Wrightsville, Ervin Heiland and his wife Rosie of Manchester, and Wayne Heiland and his wife Lori of Wrightville; a daughter, Kathy Heiland and her wife Linda of York; 17 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by a sister, Miriam and an aunt, Peggy.
