Mary E. (Bittlebrun) Lundy

RENOVO - Mary E. (Bittlebrun) Lundy, 84, was welcomed into the arms of the Lord surrounded by her loving family on October 5, 2014. She and her husband were married May 3, 1952. They celebrated 62 years is marriage together. Mary was preceded on death by an infant son , two sisters Patricia Bittlebrun and Melda Hay and one brother Melvin Bittlebrun. She was born June 5, 1930 in Jennerstown, PA a daughter of the late Frank and Florence Bittlebrun. Mary was a member of Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Renovo and taught Sunday School for 30 years. She was employed as a teacher's assistant for 35 years working with kindergarten children. Mary truly enjoyed her job. Mary always had a kind word for everyone and a warm smile. In addition to her husband Robert, Mary is survived by Cheryl (Steve) Kleckner, Pamela (Thomas) Kisko and Lynn (John) Kern. Also surviving are 3 granddaughters Stephanie (Rob) Tomalis , Ashley Kisko, Hanna Kern. 3 grandsons Brett (Brooke) Kleckner , Sean (Katie) Kleckner and Derek Kern. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren Anabeth and Juliana Tomalis and Connor and Caleb Kleckner. Flowers will be provided by the family. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, Oct., 9, 2014 at the Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 11th and Huron Ave., Renovo with the Rev. Dee Calhoun and Martha Sykes officiating. A public viewing will be held from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church. A reception will be at Zion's educational building following the interment at North Bend Cemetery.
