HANOVER-Mary E. (Baker) Eisenhart, 91, died Sunday, July 18, 2010 at Homewood at Plum Creek Health Care Center, Hanover. She was the loving wife of the late George O. Eisenhart. A graveside memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 22, 2010 at Paradis (Holtzschwamm) Union Cemetery with Chaplin Ausiin L. Chinault officiating. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc. 1551 Kenneth Road is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Eisenhart was born January 15, 1919 in York, a daughter of the late Edgar A. and Ethel (Grove) Baker. She was a 1937 graduate of East Berlin High School. She was employed with York Corporation at as mail clerk, Eisenhart Brothers Welding Service as their book keeper, and Curtis Wright Corporation as an expediter. She then went on to work for the Department of Public Assistance until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and was fortunate to have traveled to many places worldwide with her husband. Mrs. Eisenhart is survived by a son, Edwin E. Eisenhart and wife Vickie L of Red Lion; a daughter Karen L. Wagner of York; two grandsons, Brian and Eric Eisenhart of York; two brothers, Donald Baker and wife, Grace of Hanover, and Nevin Baker and wife, Louise of New Oxford; a sister Ruthanne Livers of York; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Baker; a sister, Grace Bosserman, and a son-in-law, Kennard R. Sussman. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 924-N Colonial Ave, York, PA, 17403.
