Mary (Clippinger) Young

RED LION - Mary (Clippinger) Young, 83, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Manor Care Dallastown. She was the wife the late Arthur R. Young. Funeral services and burial are private in Red Lion Cemetery with her pastor, The Rev. David D. Tietje officiating. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born May 4, 1928 in Pikesville, WV a daughter of the late Guy J. and Esther G. (Hancock) Clippinger, she had retired from Clipp\'s Oldsmobile in Dallastown. Mrs. Young was a member of St. John\'s United Church of Christ and enjoyed crocheting, reading, and watching TV. Mrs. Young is survived by a daughter, Doreen Y. and husband Ty Smith of Stewartstown; two sons, David E. and wife Linda Young of Pennsylvania Furnace, PA and Daniel and wife Debra Young of State College; two grandsons, Samuel and Benjamin Young; and a brother, Guy L. Clippinger of Dallastown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Mary may be made to a charity of your choice.
