Mary Catherine Duling

RENOVO - Mary Catherine (Lane) Duling, 87 a former resident of Farwell died Friday, April 16, 2010 at Bucktail Medical Center, Renovo where she resided for the past four years. She was born April 10, 1923 in Renovo, the youngest child of John C. and Catherine Marks-Gramley Lane. Mary graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1941. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Past President of the F.O. Eagles Auxiliary #516 and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #442 all of Renovo. A devoted wife and mother she was married to William E. Duling who preceded her in death April 7, 1985 and also her daughter Elizabeth who died September 29, 1998. She worked at the Renovo shirt factory. Surviving are her brother, Earl E. Lane of Erie and a special sister-in-law Vyrel Pickering of North Bend, a brother-in-law Milford "Bud" (Hilda) DeLaney of Williamsport and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by two sisters Esther Raymond and Alice Renaud and two brothers John C. Lane, Jr. and James Lane, also two nieces Teresa Raymond and Esther C. Lane and four nephews James T. Raymond, Paul Raymond and John Renaud and David Lane. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at St. Joseph Church, 925 Huron Ave., Renovo with Rev. Richard Tomkosky officiating. There will be a visitation at the church one hour prior to the mass. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hyner.
