Mary Beth Mahoney

Mary Elizabeth Mahoney, 59, of Vineland, NJ, the cherished eldest child of the late Charles and Joan (Stout) Mahoney of York, passed peacefully on Friday, December 23, 2016 at Vineland Development Center. Mary Beth was born on November 27, 1957. As a result of her premature birth, she lived her life with the challenges of severe cerebral palsy, mental retardation and blindness. Although Mary Beth was unable to communicate verbally, she taught all of those who loved her much about thankfulness, patience, and love. Mary Beth is survived by her brothers Kevin Mahoney (the late Sheldine) of Red Lion and Brian Mahoney (Tonia) of Cumming, GA. Also surviving are nieces and nephews Jennifer Linker, Ryan Mahoney, Breanna Reese, Samantha Reese, Charles Mahoney, Aidan Mahoney and Catherine Mahoney. In addition to her parents Mary Beth was preceded in death by her sister Patricia, and sister in-law Sheldine. We rejoice in you finally being able to run free in heaven sweet baby girl, kiss, kiss. A graveside tribute service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, Dec 29, 2016 at Susquehanna Memoral Gardens, 250 Chestnut Hill Road, York.
