Mary Belle (Inman) Whitlock

TROY - Mary Belle (Inman) Whitlock, 90 of Sylvania, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at home. She was the widow of Gerald S. Whitlock who passed away April 24, 2012. They married in 1944 and celebrated over 67 years together. Mary was born on September 28, 1922 in Troy the daughter of the late Benjamin and Sadie (May) Inman. Following graduation she attended Elmira Business Institute. Mary worked with various local companies but enjoyed being a homemaker. She was a member of the Olde Covert Church on Armenia Mountain and was a past member of the Corey Creek Golf Club where she and her husband enjoyed playing the game of golf. Mary is survived by her son Timothy Whitlock of Sylvania and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Gerald, a son Daniel in 1980 her sisters, Marion Case, Geraldine Goodnough and her brother Lyman Inman. A memorial service in Mary’s memory will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 1093 West Main Street, Troy PA.
