Mary Ann (Young) Maryott

MILTON - Mary Ann (Young) Maryott, 63, died on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Mary Ann was born on April 30, 1948 in Milton and was the daughter of the late Paul G. and Jeanet L. (Mader) Young. She had graduated from Milton Schools in 1966. She worked as a secretary for both government and businesses all her life until her retirement due to Multiple Sclerosis. Mary Ann is survived by two daughters; Beth Maryott of Lewisburg and Dayna Maryott of New Columbia, one son and daughter-in-law; Lucas and Amanda Maryott of Shamokin, three grandchildren, four brothers; Paul Young of Savannah, TN, John Young of Danville, James Young of State College and Mark Young of Milton and four sisters; Patricia Young of Milton, Theresa Ireland of Potts Grove, Donna Aikey of Milton and Janet Reiner of Omaha, Nebraska. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother; Walter “Tony” Young. Funeral services and burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Donations in Mary’s name may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Central Pennsylvania Chapter, 2040 Linglestown Rd., Ste. 104, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
