Mary Ann E. Mason

RENOVO - Mary Ann E. Mason, 72, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at UPMC Susquehanna in Williamsport where she was a patient one week. She was born July 29, 1945 in Saint Mary’s, PA a daughter of the late Wendell and Doris (Vogt) O’Brien. Mary Ann was married to Richard D. Mason who survives. She was a housewife and enjoyed her sons, grandchildren, family and her special friend Edie Fantaskey. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Renovo. Mary Ann was an avid gardener she enjoyed birds and going to camp. She attended Elk County Christian School. Surviving are her husband; two sons; Richard (Charlene) Mason of Farwell and Douglas Mason of Warriors Mark, PA. Five grandchildren Kiefer, Collin, Conner, Brett, Mattisyn. Also surviving are three brothers; Francis O’Brien of Farwell, Brian O’Brien and Robin O’Brien both of Westport. Also, three sisters; Patricia Martin of Emporium, Kathy Lane of Sterling Run and Mary George Rhone of Farwell. She was preceded in death by three brothers James Shields, Grey O’Brien and Kurt O’Brien. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 925 Huron Ave., Renovo with the Rev. Joseph Orr officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hyner. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church Improvement Fund in her memory.
