KINSTON, N.C. - Mary Ann Dively-Latshaw, 63, formerly of Dover, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at her daughter's residence. She was the wife of the late Carl Sandlin and her first husband Gerald C. Latshaw, Sr. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with the Reverend Dr. J. Richard Eckert officiating. A viewing will be from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Ms. Dively-Latshaw was born on May 13, 1946 in Bedford, PA the daughter of Mable Ruth Dively. She graduated from Bedford High School in 1964 where she was a member of the 4-H Club. Mary Ann was also a graduate from York County Vo-Tech, and the University of North Carolina at Greenville where she was a member of the National Honor Society. Mary Ann worked as an LPN at York and Harrisburg Hospital. She enjoyed reading, cross-stitching, needle pointing, and planting flowers. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and wife. She will be greatly missed. Along with her mother, Ms. Dively-Latshaw is survived by one son, Gerald C. Latshaw II of Hellam; two daughters, Elizabeth R. Latshaw of Hellam and Rebecca I. Latshaw of Thomasville; three grandchildren, Ashley E. Latshaw, Juan C. Latshaw, and Gerald C. Latshaw III. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute, Office of University Development & Alumni Relations, A120, P.O. Box 852, Hershey, PA 17033-0852.
