Mary Alice Baity

Williamsport- Mary A. (Henderson) Baity, 84, went to be with the Lord Saturday, June 16, 2007. She was the wife of the late Clarence Baity. Born in Petersburg, VA on May 20, 1923, a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Young) Henderson. She was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church, where she also served as an usher. Mary was member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed cooking and loved children. Mary is survived by one brother, Frank Henderson of Cleveland, OH; two sisters, Elizabeth Coleman of New York, NY and Clara Minter of Petersburg, VA; and many nieces, nephews, great nephews, and loving friends. Preceding her in death are six brothers, Luke and Louis (twins), Sam, Paul, James, and Wesley Henderson; a nephew, Robert Henderson; and a niece, Gloria Manning. A graveside tribute will be held 1pm, Thursday in Montoursville Cemetery with the Rev. Samuel Washington officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the Allen & Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira St., Williamsport to form a procession at 12:30pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Antioch Baptist Church, 514 High Street, Williamsport, PA 17701.
