DOVER – Mary A. (Miller) Lambert, 92, was called to heaven to be with her Lord and Saviour on Tuesday, July 13, 2021. She was the wife of the late Robert F. Lambert, Sr. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, July 16, 2021 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York with Pastor David Moss officiating. Viewings will be held from 6-8:00 PM Thursday and 9-10:00 AM Friday at the Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery, 1159 Newville Rd., Carlisle, PA. Mary’s service will be webcast on her obituary page at www.HeffnerCare.com Born May 23, 1929 in New Cumberland, a daughter of the late Edgar B. and Alice M. (Shumaker) Miller, she was a graduate of Hershey High School. Mary had worked in sewing factories in York but her favorite job was as an Elementary Secretary at New Freedom Christian School. She attended North Hills Bible Church. Mary loved to sew, make quilts and complete puzzles. She loved the Lord and remained a faithful follower throughout her life. Mary is survived by four sons, Michael E. Lambert of Emigsville, Timothy A. (Diane) Lambert of Thomasville, Robert F. (Ticia) Lambert, Jr. of York and Mark A. (Lori) Lambert of Emigsville; three daughters, Diane E. Hildebrand of York, Rebecca A. (David) Minteer of Bear, DE and BethAnn (Bryan) Flohr of Dover; seven grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and a son in law, Guy Stambaugh of Dover. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Charlotte A. Stambaugh; a granddaughter, Amanda Hildebrand; and five brothers.
