Born July 23, 1974 in York, a son of Alan R. and Patty L. (Thompson) Mundis of Red Lion, he was a 1992 graduate of Red Lion Area High School, and learned the stonemason trade under the guidance of Earl Dettinger. In 2009 he began his business, Fieldstone Remodeling, and found his greatest joy at work in restoring stonework to its original beauty. Marty loved fishing, hunting, collecting antiques and all kinds of treasures, and driving his Mustang. But his greatest love was for his family and for everyone who crossed his path. He never met a stranger and considered everybody he knew to be a friend. He lived his life fully reflecting his love for Jesus, and attended Christ Church Yorkana.

In addition to his wife and parents, Marty was the incredible father to his two children, Tristan and Maia Mundis both of Red Lion; brother to Michael E. and wife Michelle Mundis of York, Jason N. Mundis and wife Melissa Mancuso of Stewartstown, Jared E. and wife Ashley Mundis of Shiloh, and Brent E. Mundis and fiancée Caitlin Nonemaker of Porters Sideling. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Florence Thompson of York; niece and nephews, Morgan and Mitchell Mundis, Bentley Mundis, Connor Nonemaker, Nicholas LoBianco, Samuel LoBianco, and Micah LoBianco; his sister and brother-in-law, Michele and husband Tom LoBianco; and his father and mother-in-law, Phillip and Carol Myers.
