Marthalene (Hoff) Scheivert

NORTH CODORUS TOWNSHIP- Marthalene "Marcie" (Hoff) Scheivert, 66, of York, died Friday, July 30, 2010 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Roy L. Scheivert. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a viewing from 1-2 p.m. The Reverend Ronald Knopp will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in St. Jacob's Union Cemetery in York New Salem. Mrs. Scheivert was born in York on September 23, 1943, a daughter of the late Nickolas and Dorothy (Hoff) Christian. Mrs. Scheivert attended Grace Fellowship in York New Salem and previously worked as an Emergency Medical Technician for Dover Ambulance. Mrs. Scheivert leaves a son, Todd J. Forbes and his wife Kelly of Abbottstown; a daughter, Tammy S. Kriner of York; two granddaughters; three grandsons; a brother, Ronald E. Hoff and his wife Nan of Baton Rouge, LA; a sister, Joy L. Keller and her husband Rick of Spring Grove; and nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association or American Heart Association.
