Martha M. Hunter

Martha M. Hunter, age 86, died at Lock Haven Hospital on Weds. Nov. 4, 2009. She was born in Clearfield Co., Pa. on November 23, 1922, daughter of the late Frank and Mary H. Sallada Page. Martha served as the kitchen manager at Lock Haven Hospital for many years until her retirement. She attended First Baptist Church, was a member of Mill Hall Senior Citizens, Lock Haven Women of the Moose, was an avid Bingo player, and loved going to the Albright Life Center. Martha was preceded in death by her husband: Paul E. Hunter Sr. in 1979, son: Paul Hunter Jr., daughter: Peg Heimer. 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Surviving are two sons: Charles G. (Ruth) Hunter of Mill Hall and Frederick t. Hunter of Junction City, Kansas; four daughters: Mary Kay Hunter, Judith Walter, and Debra Neff all of Lock Haven, and Beverly Bradley of Knoxville, Tenn. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall at 7:00 p.m. Sunday Nov. 8, 2009 with Deacon William R. Felmlee officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment in Rest Haven Memorial Park will be held at the family's convenience.
