Marlin Lee Senft

DOVER TOWNSHIP- Marlin Lee Senft, 61, of Dover died Friday, October 9, 2009 at Hospice of Lancaster County. He was the husband of the late Donna MacArthur Senft. A Celebration of Life Service will be 10 a.m. on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a viewing from 9-10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery in York. Mr. Senft was born in York on April 8, 1948, a son of the late R. Elwood and Louise (Wantz) Senft. He worked for Johnson Controls, Inc. in York, where he was a Test Lab Operator. Mr. Senft was a member of Veterans Political Organization, Hanover Loyal Order of Moose Lodge, Hanover Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Prince Athletic Association, and South End Democratic Club. He was an avid pool player and enjoyed participating in area billiard leagues and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Mr. Senft leaves three sons, Ronald L. Senft and his wife Angie of York, Marlin L. Senft, Jr. of York and Douglas L. Senft of York; six grandchildren; and two brothers, William Senft of Dallastown and Kirk Senft of Dover.
